If you want to get the Alan Wake skin for free in Fortnite, you need to purchase Alan Wake 2 from the Epic Games Store. Like we said, it’s freeish, but at least you won’t have to spend any V-Bucks. On top of receiving the Alan Wake skin in Fortnite, buying Alan Wake 2 on PC via the Epic Games Store will also give you to the Alan’s Messenger Bag Backbling, allowing you to complete the full outfit while you’re searching for that Victory Royale.
Of course, those who have purchased the Alan Wake skin already might be wondering if they get something in return for purchasing Alan Wake 2 via the Epic Games Store, and they do. Purchasing the game even if you already own the skin will net you 1,200 V-Bucks, which you can use to purchase one of the several crossover skins that are available in the Fortnite item stop.
If the idea of a free Alan Wake skin in Fortnite sounds good to you, you’ll need to purchase Alan Wake 2 through the Epic Games Store before October 27th, 2024, meaning you’ve got a full calander year to buy Alan Wake 2 before the offer goes away.
