Free Guy is a movie all about a video game, so it shouldn’t be a shock to see a collaboration with it and one of the biggest games in the real world, Fortnite. For fans of the latter, you can pick up a Free Guy emote featuring the voice of Ryan Reynolds, the movie’s star, for free.

To unlock the Free Guy emote in Fortnite, you have to complete five different Free Guy quests that are available from August 12th to coincide with the movie.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Free Guy collaboration in Fortnite.
Fortnite Free Guy Challenges
As mentioned, you need to complete the Free Guy quests, which are called Cashier Controller Quests, in Fortnite to unlock the emote. You can start these challenges by interacting with ATMs around the map, which can mostly be found in POIs and at gas stations; check the video above for locations of the latter.
Here’s all of the challenges:
Get hit by moving vehicle (1)
Place coins around the map (3)
Reboot or revive teammates or interact with campfires (1)
Take melee damage (1)
Talk with any NPC (1)
Once you complete these five very easy challenges that should just come about from normal play, Free Guy will be unlocked as an emote.
There’s also a challenge after that asks you to do the emote once unlocked near an opponent, which will give you 200 Gold Bars along with the rest of the challenges.
You will have until September 6th to complete these Free Guy challenges and claim the emote for free.
What Is Free Guy?
Free Guy is an upcoming movie starring Ryan Reynolds in which an unsuspecting bank teller discovers that he is an NPC in a video game. It currently has an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes and is due for release on August 13th, 2021.
