Fortnite: Collect Floating Rings At Lazy Lake

Not Sonic.

Fortnite Season 3’s third week is now here, which means that we have an exciting new crop of challenges to battle our way through. The most difficult and classic challenge of the bunch asks you to Collect Floating Rings At Lazy Lake.

We found four Floating Rings in Lazy Lake in total, but there may be more. This is a somewhat difficult challenge, owing to how sweaty Lazy Lake is and how elevated all of the Floating Rings are, meaning that you might be best served to keep landing down on top of them with your glider.

Here’s everything you need to know to Collect Floating Rings At Lazy Lake in Fortnite Season 3.

As you can see, all of the Floating Rings here are located in close proximity. As mentioned, there may be more than four throughout the whole Named Location, but these are the ones we could most easily find.

Floating Ring #1

This Floating Ring is located above the toll booth above the barrier leading out of Lazy Lake on its east side. Either drop on top of it or build up to it and then claim the Ring.

Floating Ring #2

This is one of the sneakiest Rings in Lazy Lake. Situated atop the tallest tree in the Named Location, we recommend gliding over it and then continuing on to the third Floating Ring location.

Floating Ring #3

Situated outside the Big Shots restaurant, you will either have to build up to or land on this Floating Ring to claim it. A word of warning, there is no practically no loot at this spot so expect death to come fast for you.

Floating Ring #4

Expect a quick return to the lobby when going after this one. Situated at the No Sweat Insurance building, the sweatiest place in one of the sweatiest POIs, drop in between the two jutting structures at the entrance of No Sweat to get this one.

And there you have it, all of the Floating Rings within Lazy Lake. If you need a bit more guidance, make sure you watch our video above. As mentioned, there may be more Floating Rings within Lazy Lake, but these were all of the ones we could find.

Once this irritating challenge is ticked off, you will have 35,000 XP of progress towards your Battle Pass as a reward. One thing to note: though it’s been suggested these are something to do with Sonic the Hedgehog, we think that’s pretty unlikely.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
