The Escapist Umbrella is a new cosmetic for Fortnite that you can unlock for for free for achieving one simple thing: winning.
To claim the Escapist umbrella in Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 6, you must win the PVP version of Impossible Escape, a brand new LTM that is available as of May 18th, 2021.
Getting the free umbrella is just like every other umbrella in the game apart from the default one and STW bonus.
In Impossible Escape, the objective is to outlast other players (or team up with them), collect helicopter parts, and escape the island. It’s similar to The Division’s Dark Zone in that you have to extract to escape. Also just like The Division, you can also team up with other players to improve your chances by going up to them and high fiving.
Bear in mind that you do not earn the Escapist umbrella for escaping in the PVE version of Impossible Escape, just when playing against other people.

When Is Impossible Escape In Fortnite Available Until?
Impossible Escape will be available until May 25, 2021, at 9 AM ET. This is similar to other LTMs, such as the Mando and John Wick ones, it which were around for at least a week.
Impossible Escape is a fascinating new LTM that’s arriving at a point in the Fortnite season when players might be getting a little tired of the experience. Season 6 has been a bit of a long one with many controversial inclusions, so hopefully this new LTM is something everyone can agree on.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
