The Thunder Shotgun is a new weapon added in Fortnite: Chapter 4 that is intended to fill the void left by the Pump Shotgun. It is available from Common to Legendary rarity.
The Thunder Shotgun is quite the strong shotgun, especially considering that it can fire two shots at the same time at a relatively high fire rate. However, you only have four shots chambered before you need to reload with quite a long reload speed, so you need to be very accurate when using it.

As you can see, the Thunder Shotgun does huge damage but has a low reload speed and limited magazine, so you need to make sure your shots count.
You may notice that the headshot damage never goes past 195. That’s a hard lock that Epic has added to make it so no shotgun can one-shot any opponent with full health and shield.
Thunder Shotgun Location
The Thunder Shotgun is not a special weapon, so it can be found everywhere that loot usually spawns (including chests and on the floor) and has no set spawn location.
