Fortnite is nothing if not an absolute crossover machine, and what better pop culture machines to collaborate with than Star Wars? We’ve seen plenty of Star Wars in Fortnite over the years, ranging from the classic Vader to forgotten side characters in Rise of Skywalker, and now we’re getting a skin from the newest recipient of their own show, Ahsoka.

Initially seen in the animated universe side of Star Wars, Ahsoka made her live action debut in The Mandalorian before eventually getting her own Disney Plus show, which is currently airing. A powerful Jedi known as a stalwart of the Clone Wars who became an outcast, Rosario Dawson portrays the character in live action and it’s her portrayal that is making its way to Fortnite. But how can you unlock Ahsoka in Fortnite? Do you need to go through intense jedi training? Well, it’s a lot easier than that.

To unlock Ahsoka in Fortnite, players must first purchase the Chapter 4 – Season 4 Battle Pass. The Battle Pass can be purchased with either 950 V-Bucks, or a subscription to Fortnite Crew, which also gives you 1000 V-Bucks each month.

It’s not clear yet what exactly players will have to do past simply buying the Battle Pass to unlock Ahsoka, but she will be available later in the season on September 27th, 2023 as she fulfills the “secret skin” role in the Battle Pass that’s typically taken up by collaboration skins, which has included characters like Indiana Jones and Eren Yeager in the past. It has previously taken at least a month for these skins to become unlockable, usually after the second major update of the season, so patience will be needed.

Typically, once special quests become available, players have to complete these to then unlock the special skin. You cannot spend additional V-Bucks to speed this process up. Players can also complete additional quests to unlock unique variants on the skin as well as additional cosmetics, such as Back Blings and Pickaxes. Ahsoka will almost certainly follow the same template, so if you’re itching to unlock her in Fortnite the simple solution is just to wait and complete quests. Once we know all the quests needed to unlock Ahsoka, we will update this with all the info you need.

It’s worth bearing in mind that Ahsoka will only be available to players who purchase the Battle Pass for Season 4 and she will never come to the Item Shop — unless Epic develop a separate version of her with new styles, as we’ve seen previously with secret skins. If you’re worried about missing out, don’t worry, as you will still have around two months of grinding available to you once she becomes available to unlock.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
