Fortnite: Chapter 4 – All Reality Augments (Perks) Explained

Fortnite Reality Augments
Fortnite Reality Augments

Reality Augments are new major mechanics added in Fortnite: Chapter 4 – Season 1 that work a lot like perks. They’re the single biggest change to the in-match flow of Fortnite since bounties were added back in Chapter 2 and will shake up how matches themselves play out.

In short, Reality Augments are perks that unlock throughout a match. At random points, most likely when the lobby starts to shrink below specific thresholds, players will be given of one of two different Reality Augments to choose from. If you don’t like the options given to you, you can reroll, meaning that you can choose again with different options.

The longer you survive, the more Reality Augments you will accrue, meaning the more adept you are — but the same is also true of your enemies.

There are 22 Reality Augments in Fortnite: Chapter 4, with more likely to be added. Here’s all of the Augments that we know about so far.
