Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 2: Heavy Sniper Rifle Stats & Location

Fortnite Heavy Sniper Rifle

Strong weapons in Fortnite don’t get much stronger than the Heavy Sniper Rifle, a weapon that’s been in and out of the loot pool for years but is now back for Chapter 3 – Season 2.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle is available in Legendary, Epic, and Rare rarities and has been retooled to do more damage to vehicles and less to enemies. It still hits very hard, just not as hard.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Heavy Sniper Rifle in Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 2.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle is available in Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. The higher the rarity, the more damage it does and the quicker the single-shot weapon is reloaded.

Heavy Sniper Rifle has been nerfed a little to not be a one-shot kill for a headshot, which seems to be Epic’s big idea for weapons to no longer insta-kill anyone. This makes sense, as it does appeal more to casual players that Chapter 3 seems to be keen on getting back.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle will also deal massive damage to vehicles, with over 600 damage per shot. You won’t need to worry about the tanks for much longer.

Where To Find The Heavy Sniper Rifle

The Heavy Sniper isn’t a special weapon and can be found pretty much everywhere that loot usually spawns. Here’s where to find it:

– Chest
– Rare Chests
– Supply Drops

The higher the rarity, the more difficult it is to find. Don’t forget that you can upgrade your Heavy Sniper up to Legendary by spending Gold Bars at Upgrade Stations.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle doesn’t seem to be available as floor loot. It also doesn’t spawn in competitive playlists like Arena.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
