After previously being made available to all American fans, Fortnite V-Bucks cards will soon be arriving in retail stores across Europe for all European friends and family as well.
V-Bucks is a currency used within Fortnite to buy cosmetic items from the Item Shop, as well as to gain access to the seasonal Battle Pass. They’re pretty popular, helping Epic to turns billions of dollars of profit each year.
You will be available to buy these V-Bucks cards in the following countries and specific retail stores:
– France (Micromania)
– Germany (GameStop, Esso, Deutsche Post, Eni/Agip and Jet)
– UK (GAME)
These cards, which will start becoming available from April 2021, are for anyone who wants to gift others V-Bucks, with more V-Bucks setting you back more money — 1000 V-Bucks will set UK players back £6.49, for instance.
Once you have a card, you then need to go to the specific website (www.fortnite.com/vbuckscard) to redeem them with your Epic account. These V-Bucks cards can be used on any other platform, but direction will vary per platform.
As a result of this new batch of V-Bucks, expect to see plenty of spam about getting them for free on social media. Remember: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
