Fortnite: How To Get The Beast Boy Skin For Free

If you thought it was a little odd that Raven was the sole Teen Titans representative in Fortnite, that’s finally changed with the introduction of Beast Boy, who you can earn for free before his release in the Item Shop.

Just like many other crossover cosmetics in the past, players can earn Beast Boy for free in Fortnite by competing in a special cup. The Teen Titans Cup will kick off this May and give the best players the chance to get themselves Beast Boy for the grand price of nothing, along with other cosmetics.

Here’s everything you need to know to get the Beast Boy Fortnite skin for free in the Teen Titans Cup.

 

When Does The Teen Titans Cup Take Place?

The Teen Titans Cup is a Duos tournament that will take place on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 with timings varying per region.

You will be able to play a total of ten matches across a three hour window before the cup finishes. Be sure to be logged in well before the tournament takes place to make sure you don’t miss out, as well as that you have 2FA enabled and that your Epic account is also at level 30.

 

How Do I Unlock the Beast Boy Skin For Free?

To unlock Beast Boy along with other cosmetics, you must earn more points than other teams by gaining eliminations and placing higher overall. However, just for taking part, players will earn the Beast Boy & Raven Spray. On top of that, just eight points will also get you the BBRae Loading Screen as a free reward.

Here’s what you get for each placement per region in the Teen Titans Cup:

Europe
1st – 2625th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

NA East
1st – 1375th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

NA West
1st – 750th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

Brazil
1st – 750th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

Asia
1st – 250th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

Oceania
1st – 250th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

Middle East
1st – 250th: “Beast Boy” In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling.

Will Beast Boy Come To The Item Shop?

Beast Boy will be coming to the Fortnite Item Shop on May 13th, 2021. You will also be able to buy the Couch Titan Back Bling and BB’s Bonk Bat Pickaxe as part of the bundle.

As has become the case a lot lately, you will be able to choose from different styles with the use a built-in emote with Beast Boy. As Epic put it: “Use Beast Boy’s built-in Go Ape Emote to transform into his Gorilla Form, perfect for roaming among the Island’s Wolves, Boars, and Raptors. (But no less dangerous!)”

Beast Boy should be around 1500 V-Bucks to buy if other collabs are anything to go by, though this is unconfirmed.
