Fortnite 14 Days of Summer: Hit A Player With A Water Balloon In Different Matches

Get wet, scrub.

Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer rolls on, bringing a new challenge with it, the most recent asking you to hit a player with a water balloon in different matches — three, to be exact. Your reward is a Loading Screen and also an extra step on your way to getting the adorable Peely back bling.

14 Days of Summer is Epic’s summery alternative to a similar Christmas event they held during Season 7. Fortnite gets a new challenge for players to complete each day, alongside new items in the Item Shop, many of which will likely be exclusive for the foreseeable future. On top of that, we also get a classic weapon unvaulted every day for 24 hours, with the likes of the Quad Launch and Heavy Shotgun already making a brief reappearance.

Here’s everything you need to know to Hit A Player With A Water Balloon In Different Matches during Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer event.

Hit A Player With A Water Balloon In Different Matches

This challenge needs you to have previously been being keeping up with your 14 Days of Summer obligations, as you can only unlock the Water Balloon toy by having already completed eliminations with the daily unvaulted weapon or a Drumgun. Eliminations in LTMs like Team Rumble count towards your total, so jump into that if you just want to get this dusted off quickly.

Once you have the Water Balloon unlocked, it’s highly recommended that you set it as a preset or favourite for ease of access and so that you can just keep throwing it without having to go through a big ol’ wheel of emotes.

As for getting the challenge itself completed, the Water Balloons drop pretty quickly, so you may want to aim slightly above an enemy before throwing to make sure it lands. There’s a generous AOE for the Water Balloon so don’t sweat it too much.

Your reward for completing the challenge is the following Summer Drift Loading Screen.
