Fortnite 14 Days of Summer: Bounce Giant Beach Balls Locations

Wink emoji.

The second day of Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer event is upon us, and brings with it a new challenge that asks us to bounce some balls. Giant beach balls to be exact, with two available on the Fortnite island for you to get to bouncing with.

14 Days of Summer is Epic’s new attempt at keeping players playing while they go off on a well deserved short break. Players can look forward to new skins, challenges and LTMs each day, but they will also be unvaulting an old weapon each day, too.

You need to bounce these balls five separate times, so it will take a minimum of five matches to dust this challenge off. It’s also worth bearing in mind that other players can move these balls, so they may not end up where you thought they would be. For that reason, I would highly recommend that you drop in on them early and get bouncing right away.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite 14 Days of Summer’s Bounce Giant Balls in Different Matches challenge.

Giant Beach Balls Locations Map

Fortnite Season 9 Map Beach Balls

The two giant beach balls are circled in red and are quite far apart, though the slipstream does easily connect them. Do not forget that these locations may not be accurate the longer a match of Fortnite goes on.

Loot Lake Beach Ball

Loot Lake Beach ball

The first beach ball is north of Loot Lake and south of The Block. To “bounce” a beach ball, all you have to do is hit it, at which point it will either bounce normally or weirdly vibrate.

Paradise Palms Beach Ball

The other giant beach ball (which I feel may be even more likely to move during a match) is located near Paradise Palms to the northwest. Again, just wander up to this and give it a spanking with your pickaxe.

Giant Beach Balls Reward

As a reward for bouncing giant balls in different locations, you get a loading screen. Eh, could be worse. At least it’s not an icon.

And that’s pretty much all there is to this one; an easy challenge all things considered. Having to do it across five matches is certainly a pain, but compared to yesterday asking you to trek everywhere for beach parties, it’s not too bad.
