For those who have pre-ordered Football Manager 2023 on PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store, and you just can’t wait to get your hands on the game, SEGA and Sports Interactive have announced that the Early Access period for the game is now live. In even better news, buying the game between now and the game’s launch on November 8th will also net you early access, and it can even be pre-ordered for 20% off.
Football Manager 2023’s Early Access will be available to all players who have pre-ordered the game for Steam and the Epic Games Store from “participating retailers”. A list of those retailers can be found on the SEGA website. If you’ve pre-order FM23 on the Microsoft Store, SEGA have stated that you’ll be given access in the coming days.
The Early Access beta of Football Manager 2023 is essentially a near-final build of the game with pretty much all of the features, and single-player careers will be carried over to the full game on launch. Players may encounter some bugs, but those can be reported directly to the developers via the “Report Bug” button on the in-game sidebar. Online play will also be enabled, but players will have “no access to the Steam Workshop or either the pre-game or in-game editors” until the game’s launch on November 8th.
Football Manager 2023 includes a host of improvements to one of the most popular football franchises in history, with better Manager AI and new player animations making the in-game action more compelling. There’s also a new Supporter Confidence system designed to emulate how important football supporters have become in the modern game, so expect your confidence to dip as soon as you lose one game, if real life football Twitter is anything to go by.
