Epic have sent out the final teaser ahead of Fortnite Season 9, and as anyone with eyes and a brain could have guessed, it looks like Tilted Towers (and maybe even Retail) will not be remaining destroyed after all.
Here’s the tweet, which features a very fly defaulty boy and what looks like an ‘O’ behind him.

So, that’s N-E-O from these teasers now, which spells “neo” and not “new” as I had expected, but the meaning is similar.
Neo itself basically means new, or in a different form. With Tilted ruined and a futuristic theme being heavily teased, we might be about to see Fortnite 2099 as a reality with a reborn Tilted Towers. I knew a good thing like that couldn’t last for long.
One little thing (that might be nothing) is what looks like a map on this new skin’s (which will definitely be in the Battle Pass) wrist-tool.
It doesn’t look different enough from the current map to make me think it’s a new Fortnite map, but it’s not 1:1, either.
