Final Fantasy VII Remake Releases Early 2020, Looks Like A PS4 Exclusive

Just casually included at the end of the trailer.

Final Fantasy 7

The Final Fantasy VII remake has a concrete release date: March 3rd, 2020 for PS4, which also looks like it will be exclusive to (for the time being, at least).

Announced at the Final Fantasy 7: A Symphonic Reunion concert, the release date accompanied a new trailer, but there’s no mention of whether or not it’s sticking to the episodic format that was all the rage four years ago.

A new poster also accompanied the news, featuring Sephiroth looking like a very moody lad indeed.

Final Fantasy 7

The Final Fantasy VII remake was announced during Sony’s E3 2015 presentation before dropping off the face of the planet. It turned up again during a recent State of Play and is expected to feature again tonight during Square Enix’s E3 presser.

Pumped to see a certain someone die all over again but in glorious high definition?
