With FIFA 23 right around the corner, FIFA fans are eagerly awaiting their chance to start building their FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) line-ups early with the web app and companion app, but when can they do so?

EA Sports has confirmed that the FIFA 23 FUT Web App will launch first on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, and will closely be followed by the FUT Companion App for mobile devices on Thursday, September 22, 2022. This means that players will be able to start collecting and strategising up to a week before the game first launches as part of the Ultimate Edition on September 27th, 2022, and even longer before the release of the Standard Edition on October 1st, 2022.

The FIFA 23 FUT Web App and FUT Companion App(s) allow players to get ahead in the Transfer Market for Ultimate Team in FIFA 23, with the option to purchase packs, buy and sell players, put their squads togethers, and complete SBCs, among other things.

How Do I Use The FIFA 23 Apps Early?

To be able to use the FIFA 23 apps ahead of the game launching, you must have previously made a FUT Club in FIFA 22 before August 1st, 2022. Brand new FIFA players will not be able to use them early. If you’ve deleted your club or switched platforms, you won’t be able to use the app early.

Likewise, if you’ve broken any of the trading rules or have been disciplined by EA in the past, you will not be able to get ahead of everyone else with the FIFA 23 apps.

What About The FIFA 22 Apps?

With the release of its FIFA 23 equivalent, the old apps will be all be discontinued and will no longer be accessible as of Friday, September 16, 2022, as they will be replaced with the FUT 23 apps.

If you have any finishing touches you want to do to your FIFA 22 squad or have SBCs to tick off, you should probably get those done now.

Where To Download The Companion App

The FUT Companion App will be a free download for the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android), and you’ll need to use your EA account details to log-in. There’s no option to pre-register for the launch of the other apps.

Bear in mind to double-check the developer behind the app before you download it, as some apps pretend to be the real deal and are either scams or a waste of your time. If it’s not from EA, it’s not legitimate.

FIFA 23 will be available from September 27th, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, Switch.
