Say what you will about Far Cry 6, but nobody could ever argue that it doesn’t have enough downloadable content, whether that’s as pre-order DLC, a Season Pass, or something else.
If you pre-ordered the game, you will have access to the Libertad Pack at launch, which gives you the Discos Locos and Libertad Chorizo. If you pre-ordered the game from a digital storefront like the PlayStation Store, this content will automatically be redeemed and available, but if you bought the code from a third-party or physically, you will need to redeem a code and have a Ubisoft account.
To redeem your 16-digit pre-order code, you have to go to redeem.ubisoft.com/far-cry-6/ and the log-in to your Ubisoft account. If you don’t have an account, creating one is free and takes a couple of minutes.
Once logged in, enter your code and then select which platform you will be using the content on, so if you’re playing Far Cry 6 on PS5, select that platform. Make sure to connect all of your different accounts from the different platforms that you play Ubisoft products on to be able to redeem this code properly.
You’re not done yet. To make this complicated procedure even more complicated, Ubisoft will then email you with a code to redeem to use on the platform you selected.
If you can’t find it, search “Far Cry 6” in your email and check it didn’t get lost in a thread.
All being well, you will then have access to your Libertad Pack content in-game when you boot up Far Cry 6 again after redeeming it on the platform of your choice, as long as you have made it off of Isla Santuario and into the game proper.
If you don’t have your initial code, be sure to check your email account for an email from the seller, or your account with that seller on their website, if applicable. If you weren’t given a code with your physical purchase after pre-ordering the game, chase it up with the seller.
Bear in mind that different retailers will have different ways of distributing these codes, if they have them at all.
Far Cry 6 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Stadia.
