With Fortnite Season 7 currently underway after starting last week, you’d expect Epic to let the game settle for a bit before making any more huge changes to the game. We should have learned by now that Epic do whatever the heck they want, evidenced by the fact that it looks like we’re getting a Fortnite sword soon.
The incoming item (presumably a weapon) was teased in the short clip below on the Fortnite Twitter page.

I can’t immediately recognise the location, but we watch as a figure (which may be a new regal skin or just the Ice King skin from the Battle Pass) approaches a sword lodged in the ground before removing it, King Arthur style.
That’s all we know so far, except for the fact that it’s coming soon to all platforms. Who knows what this could mean: it could be a new skin, weapon, LTM, or maybe all three?
It’ll be interesting to see how a melee weapon like a sword would fit into Fortnite considering the fact that most combat is ranged. You’d expect that it could shoot ice or something to make it a worthwhile addition.
