With Season 8 winding down and everyone who can be bothered currently getting stuck into their Overtime challenges, Epic Games have begun to tease Fortnite Season 9, which looks like it will have some kind of future theme.
Here’s the tweet, which also gives us a first look at what is bound to be a Battle Pass skin for the upcoming season.

What’s interesting here is that the front of the character seems to bear some kind of writing that isn’t too dissimilar to what The Visitor was messing around with during his missile work; it’s also turned up a few times here and there since. Does this suggest that he will be making a return, or that he was in fact from the future to begin with?
All of this timey-wimey stuff makes me think that the currently destroyed Tilted Towers and Retail Row won’t stay that way for too long, especially as it was just before the end of the season.
On a similar note, hopefully this new skin will appear in-game to throw the Drum Gun into the fire and get rid of it once and for all.
Fortnite Season 9 will kick off on May 9th.
