E3 2016: Huge Elder Scrolls Online Changes Announced

It was a triple-whammy of huge announcements for The Elder Scrolls Online this E3

Firstly, the game is expanding to Japan, so a massive injection of new players can be expected.

Secondly, was the addition of the Dark Brotherhood DLC. This new story pack will hopefully allow for more insight into the intricacies of the mysterious organisation. Arguably this quest line was one of the more in-depth and involved in Skyrim, from the the unconventional beginnings to the final climactic clash.

But most surprisingly of all- was the announcement of One Tamriel.

With this implementation- Bethesda are removing a lot of barriers. No level restrictions, and no area or content restrictions. It was stated that from the moment you set foot in Tamriel, you’ll be, frankly, able to go wherever you want, and team with whoever you like.

This has never been done on any MMORPG.

The question is- will it work?
