Elden Ring: Where To Find Pumpkin Head

A lot of folks have been pointing out how Elden Ring feels a lot like Dark Souls meets The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the more we play it, the more we agree. Aside from the obvious bits like crafting and exploring a decimated medieval world, Elden Ring also has hidden bosses and mini-bosses all over the place. One of the early bosses players can find in Elden Ring is Pumpkin Head.

Pumpkin Head is located on the eastern side of Limgrave, the opening area, in the Waypoints Ruins.

Simply head for the direct, most eastern-central part of the map and you’ll be well on your way. For reference, it’s directly east of the giant lake at the center of Limgrave.

You’ll know you’re in the right neck of the woods when you see a bunch of poison flowers shuffling around. Seek out a lit torch at the center of the area and you’ll find a stairway underground. This is your path to Pumpkin Head. There are no other obstacles other than a mist door that you can bypass at your leisure.

Of the starting bosses, this one might be the easiest. If you’re a Soulsborne veteran, think of this Elden Ring boss as your typical bruiser. He swings hard but leaves himself open on the regular. Though he’s far more mobile than he might initially appear to be, you ought to get the best of him in a few tries at most.

As a bonus for beating Pumpkin Head, the room beyond him holds a sorceress and plenty of new spells for you to purchase and master. With these spells open to you, you’ll be stronger than ever and ready to take on your next challenge in the world of Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X & S, and Xbox One.
