Reports have confirmed that AEW star Eddie Kingston has been suspended from the company for the foreseeable future and has thus had his All Out match cancelled against Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship.

The suspension has come about due to a backstage altercation between the two, stemming from genuine heat between Kingston and Guevara. Tensions reached boiling point when Kingston took a swing at Guevara due to comments that he made about his weight. Although, it has yet to be confirmed if Kingston has already served his suspension time. Regardless, it seems that the scheduled match for All Out has been definitely cancelled.

There is currently no word as to whether this feud will continue after Kingston’s suspension finishes, however, it seems that going forward, AEW are going to be taking it in the direction of Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo, taking on Ruby Soho and Ortiz in mixed tag action.

It’s a shame that this feud won’t be coming to Chicago anytime soon, as Eddie Kingston was quickly becoming one of the most popular babyfaces on the AEW roster and a likely successor to Sammy Guevara as TNT Champion.
