If anyone out there is still playing Battlefront 2, this is some good news for you. During the EA Play event today, DICE announced that the game will be getting a Clone Wars inspired update at some point this year.
This new update will include the planet Geonosis, which fans will recall as the setting for the climax of Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones, also known as the worst Star Wars film ever made. Yes, that is an uncontroversial take. Well spotted.
This new update will also come complete with 4 new heroes in the form of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku and General Grievous, meaning you’ll be able to recreate all of your favourite prequel memes in Battlefront 2. What a time to be alive.
