Just a little under a year ago, a little studio by the name of StudioMDHR took the world by storm with its indie title Cuphead. A run and gun arcade shooter with a unique style influenced by the rubber hose style of 1930s cartoons and an insane difficulty curve, Cuphead instantly became a classic that many, including myself, fell in love with.
Now, fans of Cuphead who have managed to actually beat the game and all of its insane bosses should get ready, because it’s time to help Cuphead and Mugman save their souls once more. During their E3 briefing, Microsoft announced a new DLC pack for Cuphead titled ‘The Last Course’. The Last Course comes jam packed with a new isle, new devastatingly difficult bosses, new weapons and charms, and a new character called Ms. Chalice, who will be joining Cuphead and Mugman on their new adventure.
Not much else was revealed about the DLC, but what was shown is honestly enough for us to get excited about the new food-themed DLC. Players can expect to return to the brawl in The Last Course when it launches exclusively for Xbox One and PC in 2019.
