At E3 2018, EA revealed a new indie title under the EA Originals banner by the name of Sea of Solitude from Jo-Mei Games.
The game will be about loneliness, a theme that is close to its developer. They hope that players will be able to relate to SOS, and how loneliness can be overcome with others.
“When humans get too lonely, they turn into monsters. That’s what happened to Kay. But she’s not alone – this ocean is full of creatures just like her. Finding them may be the key to changing her back.”
Kay is the protagonist as she becomes a monster with the quest to turn her back into a human. It looks simply gorgeous and appears to be a platformer in the vein of Inside and Limbo. We’ve put this one on our watchlist for when it launches early in 2019.
