The reboot/reimagining of the Prey series has finally be confirmed by Bethesda at this year’s E3, though it doesn’t take the same form as what many of us would hope it would. The cancelled Prey had one of the best game trailers ever, but this new Prey looks like being a psychological horror game.
To help bring this new terrifying world to life, Arkane have been working with industry veteran Chris Avellone in an unknown capacity.

He’s worked on some pretty huge games in the past, but probably most notably on Fallout: New Vegas during his time at Obsidian. Avellone has also worked on Knights of the Old Republic II and Wasteland 2.
It’s still incredibly early days to get too pumped for the new Prey, but if you’re feeling optimistic, you can always pre-order it on Amazon.
