Bandai Namco have announced an October 14th release date for Dragon Ball: The Breakers, the asymmetrical multiplayer game that sees 7 survivors trying to avoid being blasted into oblivion by one powerful Raider. As with most major releases in this day and age, Dragon Ball: The Breakers will come with multiple editions for players to splash their cash on. Here’s everything you need to know about Dragon Ball: The Breakers’ different launch editions.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Pre-Order Bonuses
Pre-ordering any edition of Dragon Ball: The Breakers will give players the Android 18 Transphere, which allows survivors to transform into powerful warriors during a match, along with the Wall Kick skill. You’ll also received the Scouter (Blue) accessory, and if you make your purchase through the Bandai Namco store, you’ll receive the Potara (Green) earring accessory early.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Standard Edition
Price: Not yet announced, possibly £20/$25

Dragon Ball: The Breakers’ standard edition will just include the game and nothing else, unless you pre-order it. Doing so will unlock the aforementioned bonuses. This version of the game isn’t available to pre-order right now, but will be at a later date.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Special Edition

The Special Edition version of Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be available to buy both digitally, which is currently unavailable, or through the Bandai Namco Store. The Special Edition includes the full game, which will either be on disc for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, or a code in the box for Nintendo Switch players. On top of that, it’ll include the Special Edition Pack, which features a number of cosmetic items such as:
– Souvenir Jacket (Midnight Black), Skinny Jeans (Black), Slip-On Shoes (Gray) and Casual Watch (Black) costume items
– Victory Pose (Two-Handed Good)
– Vehicle Skin (Yellow Dragon)
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Limited Edition
Price: £74.99/$79.99

Exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store, the Limited Edition of Dragon Ball: The Breakers includes all the bells and whistles you’d get from pre-ordering the Special Edition, with a Steelbook case and special stickers thrown in for good measure. Finally, the full package is rounded out by a 9x15cm Cell Shell figure, harkening back to the villain’s first appearance in the Dragon Ball Z story.
When Do Pre-Orders Go Live For Dragon Ball: The Breakers?
Pre-orders for the Special and Limited Edition versions of the game are live right now on the Bandai Namco Store, but it’s unclear when the regular version of the game will also go live for pre-orders.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 14th, and will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S via backwards compatibility. If you’d like to try the game before then, a Closed Network Test will be conducted in August, with sign-ups available right now.
