Dragon Ball RPG Project Z Officially Revealed

We're very intrigued by this one.

Project Z

After being teased a week ago, Bandai Namco officially revealed the debut trailer for their upcoming Dragon Ball Action RPG, codenamed Project Z, and while it didn’t reveal too much in the way of details, it looks like it could be an interesting new way to experience the world of Dragon Ball.

The game will focus on the story of Goku, along with the Dragon Balls themselves, and it’ll go from the battle between Goku and Piccolo from the original Dragon Ball series to the Frieza saga in Dragon Ball Z. That said, it’s likely that the game will also include the Cell and Buu sagas too, because why wouldn’t it?

The storyline is one thing, but as for gameplay, the trailer didn’t show too much of that. Aside from the five seconds of footage showing Goku walking around different Dragon Ball landmarks, no other gameplay was shown. Still, we’re interested to see more Project Z in the months to come, as it’s scheduled to launch this year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
