Dr Stone Season 3

Dr. Stone: Season 3, officially known as Dr. Stone: New World’s first half is now over. That’s right; it’s just the first half. New World Part 2, or Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 is coming, and it is coming soon. How soon, though?

Season 3 Part 1 ended with a heartfelt scene where Byakuya is shown collecting platinum until his death. All in case Senku wakes up in the future. Now with the ability to produce even more nitric acid, Senku must save his petrified friends on the Perseus. Here’s the release window for Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2, as well as the general plot for it.

When Is Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 Being Released?

Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 will be un-petrifying the series sometime in October 2023. A trailer hasn’t come out yet, but the last episode of Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 1 says it all. A short message after the ending song reveals the October release window. A post from the official Dr. Stone website further supports this.

The number of episodes for Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 is currently unknown. However, since it’s the second part of a split cour, the number of episodes shouldn’t stray far from Part 1’s. Part 2 will likely have more or less 11 episodes, especially since most Dr. Stone seasons have 11 episodes.

What Is Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 About?

Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 will pick up right where Part 1 left off. This is in the middle of the Treasure Island Arc. Predictably enough, Senku heads for the Pegasus to revive his friends. It takes a while, but Ryusui and Kaseki do get revived.

The next order of business was to deal with Ibara. To do this, Senku must take risks and revive some dangerous people. Namely: Yo and Hyoga. If those two don’t immediately turn against him, Senku’s got a fight on his hands. Will he be able to prevail and free the entire Petrification Kingdom?

Which Studio Is Making Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2?

If you were worried about any changes to Dr. Stone’s animation quality, don’t be. TMS Entertainment, the studio that’s been animating Dr. Stone since Season 1 won’t be going anywhere. The production companies in charge of Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2, on the other hand, are still unconfirmed. TOHO Animation and Shueisha have been producing Dr. Stone since the start though. So, it’s all but guaranteed that they’ll be producing Season 3 Part 2.

Other anime that have come out of these companies include My Hero Academia, ReLIFE, and Death Note.

Where To Watch Dr. Stone

Different Dr. Stone seasons are available on different streaming services. The only streaming service to have every entry of Dr. Stone, including the special, is Crunchyroll.

Funimation and Netflix have most of them but miss a season or two, along with the special.

Unfortunately, they haven’t announced where Dr. Stone: Season 3 Part 2 will come out yet. But based on the previous seasons, it’ll likely come out on Crunchyroll.
