Ahead of the launch of narrative adventure game Twin Mirror on December 1st, DONTNOD Entertainment have announced Lost on Arrival, a companion experience that should give more insight into the game’s world and characters, and there’s even the chance of a giveaway to boot. The experience will be live from today up until November 30th, a day before the game’s launch.
What Is Lost On Arrival?
Lost on Arrival, which you can access via this dedicated website, takes place in the game’s town of Basswood, West Virginia. It’s nearly 7am, and you’ve found a phone lying on the pavement outside the local pub, The Coal Miner’s Haven. Now it’s on you to try and track down the phone’s seemingly enigmatic owner. It gives a small glimmer of background information regarding the game, along with some new screenshots and the official soundtrack.
Did You Say Something About A Giveaway?
I sure did. Players who reach the end of the experience will be entered into a draw to win a special gaming PC provided by Gigabyte, which has been themed after Twin Mirror protagonist Sam’s own Mind Palace. There are also 20 Epic Games Store pre-order keys up for grabs too.
Twin Mirror will see players take on the role of Sam Higgs as they return to their hometown of Basswood, only to find plenty of dark secrets. Players will have to navigate between a quest for the truth and the quest to reconnect with his loved ones after so much time apart. Twin Mirror will launch on December 1st for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X | S compatibility.
