It’s that time of month when the free games drop for PlayStation Plus members. March 2017 sees an underrated platformer and an addictive sports hybrid being made available to subscribers, starting from today (March 7).

What are you downloading first?

Tearaway Unfolded

First up, Tearaway Unfolded is the remaster of the underrated PS Vita game Tearaway with some added shine. It’s not performed too well on either platform, but it really should. Unfolded blends the old and the new style of platformers to create something that will make you involuntarily “aww”.

The second free PS Plus game for March brings with it plenty of hype. Developers have been keen to bounce off the success of Rocket League by making their own this-really-shouldn’t-work-but-it-does hybrids, and Disc Jam looks no different. Time will tell if it can match (or get anywhere near) the success of Psyonix’s surprise hit, but early signs are good.
