Quantic Dream has recently revealed that Detroit: Become Human will be arriving on PC on December 12.
Previously a PlayStation 4 exclusive, David Cage’s latest cinematic adventure will be available for purchase on the Epic Games store for £29.99/$39.99 USD. It will be joining its PC-converted predecessors, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, which were ported earlier this year in June and July respectively.
Whether or not it will display the percentage branches of choices and outcomes made by players, similarly to its PS4 version, will be up for speculation. It will be interesting, however, to see how the different controls and new interface implemented for PC may refresh our experience of Quantic Dream’s ambitious title one year later.
Similarly to Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, a free demo will be available on the day of Detroit: Become Human’s release. In the meantime, we’re pretty excited for the chance to re-experience the grim and beautiful 2038 Detroit this Christmas.
