As you might guess from the name, Destroy All Humans! 2 sees you exterminating plenty of pesky humans on your quest for total world domination, but that doesn’t mean you can’t stop to do a little bit of sightseeing along the way. One such area where you might want to explore is Takoshima Tower, the huge spire located in the middle of Takoshima City, as reaching the very top will unlock the Destroy All Humans! 2 achievement/trophy, “Higher Than The Futen Zoku”.
In order to climb the tower, you’ll need to make use of Crypto’s jetpack, which is activated by holding down the jump button. Using the jetpack allows you to ascend into the air for a limited time, which you can use to climb up the various struts and girders that compose the tower. Using this method, you should be able to climb your way up the majority of the tower.
The problem comes right towards the top of the tower. In order to get the achievement or trophy to unlock, you need to scale the whole tower, and that includes the antenna that rests on top of the tower. Unfortunately for you, relying on the jetpack’s base ability won’t be enough to get you to the very top, but worry not, as the jetpack has a hidden function that makes scaling the tower possible.
By double tapping the jump button, the jetpack’s trajectory changes from a slow ascent to an immediate boost of upwards speed, one that’s higher than the regular jetpack can reach. Using this ability, you’ll be able to scale to the very top of Takoshima Tower. Just make sure to actually land on top of the small antenna at the peak, and you’ll have unlocked the Higher Than The Futen Zoku achievement/trophy.
Destroy All Humans! 2 is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
