During today’s conference by PlayStation at Paris Games Week, the debut trailer for Destiny 2’s first DLC pack, Curse of Osiris, was revealed, and boy does it ramp up the intrigue.

For anyone not fully immersed in the Destiny lore, the trailer informs players of the role of the Guardian Osiris, who was banished from the Vanguard long ago, but has now returned with an army of Vex behind him. The true question is, can we trust him? Ikora Rey doesn’t seem sure of whether or not Osiris is here as an ally, or an enemy.

The DLC will see players venture to Mercury to take on the rising tide of Vex, with a new story campaign, strikes, a new patrol space and some new PvP maps. There has been no word on a new raid as of yet though, so if you’re looking for in-game content on par with the Leviathan Raid, you might be disappointed.

The Curse of Osiris DLC will be released on December 5th for PS4 and Xbox One, with PS4 players getting the usual exclusive content. It’s unclear if PC players will get the DLC on the same date seeing how that version of the game launched later, but time will tell. Are you looking forward to playing some Destiny 2 DLC? Sound off in the comments.
