Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles (Hinokami Keppuutan in its native Japan) is the first major video game adaptation for arguably the biggest anime in the world right now. Playing similarly to the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm games, also from developers CyberConnect2, The Hinokami Chronicles’ roster promises a fun fighting game or up to two players in which characters from the anime duel it out.

Demon Slayer has no shortage of fighters to choose from, whether that’s the demons Tanjiro and pals cut their way through or the many members of the Demon Slayer Corps they idolise. Here’s everything you need to know about the roster in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, which we will add to over time, including whether they are base or post-launch DLC characters.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Roster

Here’s every confirmed character in the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles roster.

– Giyu Tomioka
– Inosuke Hashibira
– Kimetsu Gakuen Giyu Tomioka
– Kimetsu Gakuen Inosuke Hashibira
– Kimetsu Gakuen Nezuko Kamado
– Kimetsu Gakuen Shinobu Kocho
– Kimetsu Gakuen Tanjiro Kamado
– Kimetsu Gakuen Zenitsu Agatsuma
– Kyojuro Rengoku
– Makomo
– Murata
– Nezoku Kamado
– Sabito
– Sakonji Urokodaki
– Shinobu Kocho
– Tanjiro Kamado (Water Breathing/Hinokami Kagura)
– Zenitsu Agatsuma

At this time of writing, which shortly follows the announcement of Murata as a character, there are no demons in the roster, meaning that you technically aren’t slaying any demons. For an adaptation of a show called Demon Slayer, that’s kind of odd.

(Technically, yes, Nezoku is a demon, but she is also a good egg.)

However, more will be revealed the closer we get to the game’s full release, so if you’re hoping to see Hand Demon, Susamaru, or Rui, watch this space.
