Dead Island, Absolver And More Leaving Xbox Game Pass Soon

It is what it is.

Absolver PS4 review

With the launch of the Xbox Series X | S, one of the main selling points for the new console was Xbox Game Pass. However, the issue with Game Pass is that not every game is there to stay, as eight games have been announced as leaving the program on December 1st. These games are spread out across both Game Pass for Console and for PC.

What Are The Eight Titles Leaving Game Pass?

On December 1st, console subscribers will lose access to Absolver: Downfall, Dead Island: Definitive Edition and The Escapists 2, while PC players will lose Faeria and Hatoful Boyfriend, the visual novel dating sim with birds. Lastly, both console and PC subscribers (and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers), will lose Demon’s Tilt, Wandersong and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. Naturally, you’ll be able to take advantage of the discount that Game Pass subcribers have to purchase these games before they leave.

Are These Worth Playing Before They Go?

Absolver is a bit of a underrated banger, in all honesty, so it’s definitely worth giving a go. Wandersong is also an incredibly well received indie game that has an easy 1000G if you’re willing to skip all the story scenes like a true philistine. Still, with plenty more games in the pipeline, and the recent addition of the entire EA Play library, Game Pass still has plenty of options.
