Days Gone On PC Features Unlocked Framerates, Ultrawide Support & More

Steam and EGS releases inbound.

Days Gone

Sony have published a new PlayStation Blog, announcing that Bend Studio’s Days Gone will be launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 18th, with a new features trailer that you can check out at the top of the page. This comes off the back of recent reports that Sony shot down the idea of a sequel, with the original game’s director even confirming that Days Gone 2 was pitched.

What’s Days Gone All About Again?

Days Gone sees players control Deacon St. John, a post-apocalyptic bounty hunter trying to survive in a world where a deadly pandemic has transformed millions into deadly creatures known as Freakers. Using the skills learned from being a part of the Mongrels MC, players will take on hostile humans and hordes of Freakers in an attempt to survive. While Days Gone failed to set the world on fire at launch, there’s a lot to love with it.

What’s New With The PC Version?

The PC version of Days Gone includes support for ultra-wide monitors, unlocked framerates and new visual customisation options that allow you to tinker with the level of visual detail on display. There’s even support for 1st and 3rd party controllers, and a Photo Mode for those who like taking pretty pictures in the ruins of society.
