Darkestville Castle

Buka Entertainment and Epic LLama have announced that their point and click adventure game Darkestville Castle will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch on August 13th. Check out the announcement trailer below.

A point and click adventure inspired by the titans of the genre, such as Monkey Island, Darkestville Castle puts players in control of Cid, a dastardly demon who enjoys terrorising the people of Darkestville. Side note: is it still a “point and click” game if its on console? Just a bit of a shower thought for you there.

Darkestville Castle has already launched on Steam, to which it has received a “Very Positive” rating, so fingers crossed it’ll be ported with that same level of quality to other platforms. Pre-orders are now live on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with the game costing $14.99 USD / 14.99 € / £11.99, and there’s a demo available on all formats. Will you be playing Darkestville Castle on August 13th? Sound off in the comments.
