Daniel Bryan Showcase Mode Confirmed For WWE 2K19

WWE and 2K have been dropping hints all week relating to a mysterious Daniel Bryan based feature of the upcoming 2K19. Many rumours and speculation pointed towards 2K reissuing the popular Showcase mode for this years game – today, 2K revealed that this is indeed the case.

Showcase Mode allows players to relive some of the greatest moments and matches of WWE lore, in the past focusing on the likes of John Cena, Triple H, CM Punk and Mark Henry in riveting campaigns that took you through recent history. This year’s focus will be Daniel Bryan, taking us on a journey through his amazing career so far, highlighting the peaks and the slumps including his untimely retirement and magnificent return at WrestleMania this year.

2K do an excellent job at re-creating iconic moments through interactive cutscenes, providing a rich, life-like feel to the action whilst you play, supported by the commentary taken straight from the matches themselves.

For fans of Daniel Bryan and WWE historians, Showcase mode is going to be a blast to play through this year.

This also leaves room for tons of DLC opportunities, much like how several more additions to the campaign mode were added post-release for 2K15.
