Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 Trophies & Time To Platinum

After almost a decade and constant delays, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, bringing with it a whole heap of PS4 trophies and one juicy Platinum for completionists. Question is: will it take as long to Platinum as it did to release?

For those not in the know, Cyberpunk 2077 is a long-gestating open world game that follows V, your created character, as they look for something that can give eternal life in the dystopia of Night City. Keanu Reeves plays Johnny Silverhand, a famous rockstar who leads you on a merry journey, and that’s about the most normal sounding thing about the whole game.

If you’re wondering what Cyberpunk 2077’s PS4 trophies entail, here’s everything you need to know. Beware spoilers for the Cyberpunk 2077 storyline. Also bear in mind that you will be able to unlock these trophies while playing on a PS5 at launch as well, though the PS5 version will have its very own trophy set once released.

As you might have noticed from looking at the trophy list for Cyberpunk 2077, there are no difficulty related trophies, meaning that something like The Witcher 3’s Death March isn’t a concern this time out.

While a fairly straightforward game to Platinum overall, Cyberpunk 2077 is very densely packed with stuff to do and trophies to collect. Thought the main storyline is roughly only fifteen hours long, the amount of side content beefs the total playtime up considerably. In fact, story trophies only take up a small fraction of the 45 PS4 trophies for Cyberpunk 2077.

The majority of the trophies are earned by completing collectathons (Frequent Flyer, The Wandering Fool, Breathtaking), finishing side-stories (To Protect and Serve, To Protect and Serve, Judy vs Night City) and dusting off all gigs and hustles across multiple locations (Greetings from Pacifica!, The Wasteland, Little Tokyo). There are even combat specific trophies, which include Must Be Rats that asks you to perform the Distract Enemies quickhack 30 times without drawing attention to yourself.

For that reason, while Cyberpunk 2077 may not take as long overall to Platinum as The Witcher 3 thanks to no difficulty-dependent trophies, we still think you will be burning things down for many, many hours until you unlock the Platinum.
