CD Projekt Red have announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be delayed once again. The game was scheduled for release on September 17th, but will now be delayed until November 19th. The news was broken on Twitter today.

In the press release, CD Projekt Red reiterate that they will not ship a game until it’s ready, and that the right decision currently is to delay the game until it is ready. The statement also revealed that “Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise”, as all the content has been completed. The delay is to ensure all the game mechanics are properly balanced and that the majority of bugs have been ironed out before launch.

The statement also clarifies that journalists from around the world are currently playing a preview version of the game, with their impressions going live after the Night City Wire presentation scheduled for the 25th June. Are you excited for Cyberpunk 2077? Sound off in the comments.
