With a game as big as Cyberpunk 2077, it should come as no surprise whatsoever that its world is packed with a tonne of secrets and special cameos. Most people already know about Hideo Kojima turning up in the game, but what about one of his creations, BB from Death Stranding?
BB is the infamous baby in the jar that Norman Reedus’ character carries around over the course of Death Stranding. He’s kind of the mascot of that game and provides pretty much its lasting image, so it make sense for BB to start turning up in other media.
And you can bump into him in Cyberpunk 2077. To find BB in Cyberpunk, you first need to have met River Ward. River can become a contact after you complete a mission called I Fought The Law for the Peralezes, who will call you up after you’ve made some progress in the main storyline.
You will later receive a call from River Ward after completing that mission, which will then start you on his line of quests. One such quest is The Hunt, which tasks you with breaking into a building while looking for the file on Anthony Harris.
As soon as you enter the building through the window, immediately go into the room on the right and there you will find BB on display.
You can’t interact or talk to BB in Cyberpunk 2077 (for obvious reasons), though you can scan him for further Death Stranding easter eggs. Be sure to refer to the video guide at the top of this article if you need more guidance.
