Unless you live and breathe kart racers, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled may offer a surprising level of difficulty. Even if you grew up on its originator and Mario Kart, that might not be enough to see you to the finish line. That’s why you should take advantage of things like Papu’s Pyramid’s shortcuts when you can.
The Incan-themed track is filled with tight corners and perilous plants, but it also has two shortcuts to offer. To nab yourself the Pyramid Parkour trophy or achievement, you’re going to have to nail both of them during the same race.
As with all shortcut trophies, jumping into a tranquil Time Trial is recommended as you don’t have to deal with other racers.
The first Papu’s Pyramid shortcut makes you take a leap of faith; you will need to jump at the very last second in hopes of making it. It’s a very unforgiving shortcut, to say the least. I would recommend a racer with high acceleration, such as Coco.
The next shortcut at Papu’s Pyramid comes up immediately after the first, Hang a left so you can jump onto a separate platform, which will give you a pretty small speed boost compared to the regular direction.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is out now for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. From our review:
