Turtle Rock Studios have announced that their upcoming co-op shooter Back 4 Blood has been delayed until October 12th, 2021. Originally, the game was scheduled to launch on June 22nd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
Back 4 Blood Has Been Delayed?
The developers announced the news on Twitter in a rather succinct statement. Turtle Rock state that they need more time to make the horde shooter the best it possibly can be. In order to do this, the game will need to be pushed back by a couple of months. You can check out the tweet for yourself below.

It’s not all bad news though, as the tweet also reveals that Turtle Rock are planning to host an open beta for the game at some point this summer. Originally, the game had a limited closed beta last year, which was just on PC, so fingers crossed that the game will get a console open beta.
I just want to play the zombie-shoot-bang game, I don’t have a good PC. Wah.
