Classic Fighting Game The Last Blade Slashes Its Way Onto Steam

If you’re a fighting game aficionado and you’ve had enough of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat and are looking to spice things up with something a bit different, then check out The Last Blade. The lesser-known title was originally released back in 1997 from publisher SNK, and finally made its way onto Steam today.

The Last Blade is set during Japan’s Tokugawa shogunate period, and as its name suggests, it puts a large emphasis on two-on-two sword combat, with some splashes of blood thrown in to add an extra layer of realism. Just but don’t expect MK levels of gore.

Despite not being a huge hit, it was popular enough back in the day to spawn a sequel, so The Last Blade is definitely worth checking out if you feel in the mood to beat the living daylights out of people.
