Chris Jericho’s AEW Championship Found

Time to crack open the bubbly!

One of the strangest news stories to come out of the past few days has been the misplacement of the AEW Championship. After only being handed over to Chris Jericho at Saturday’s All Out pay-per-view event, Jericho somehow had it stolen from him at a steakhouse restaurant. Fortunately for the inaugural champ, Tallahassee Police recovered the glorious silver belt and will be returning it to AEW very soon.

It’s time for ‘The Alpha’ to pop a bottle of bubbly and celebrate like the champ that he is. Although I’m sure Cody and the rest of the AEW team are going to think twice about letting the actual championship belt be taken home on a weekly basis. Perhaps they should take a leaf out of the WWE rule book and give champions a prop replica belt to take to press events and what not.

I’m sure we’ll have a few more details of the situation as time goes on, but we can rest assured knowing that the beautiful title belt has been returned to its rightful owners. Thank you and congratulations to the Tallahassee Police department.
