After the release of the first trailer for Captain Marvel, which features Carol absolutely battering an old lady (no, really), Marvel have also released the first official poster for Captain Marvel.

It’s neat, but ultimately not what I could call special. The poster is basic, which is never a bad thing — so many posters cram every damn thing into a small space and end up looking ridiculous as a result. Spider-Man: Homecoming, anyone?
