As if a new teaser for Star Wars: The Last Jedi wasn’t enough, the Star Wars team have done us one better. Via Twitter, they’ve unveiled a badass new poster for the upcoming film. It features the well recognised ‘lightsaber split-screen’ effect, courtesy of Ray, with the faces of Luke and Kylo Ren (we think?) looming over a red, sinister skyline.

All signs point towards this film doing the expected ‘darkest timeline’ middle film jig, and the chose colour palette is only helping to strengthen that claim. The fact that the trailer ends with Luke saying that the Jedi need to end doesn’t hurt either. The film is due out on December 15th.
