Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Down to £5 At ASDA

Infinite Warfare

It may not have been the best Call of Duty game, but Infinite Warfare certainly had its bright spots, namely its campaign. A fairly entertaining romp through space, it saw Jon Snow become a bad egg and featured a robotic companion who might have been the best Call of Duty character in years.

You could say that for £5, it’s more than worth it. Just don’t bother with the mess that is its multiplayer and you might find something to love.

You can pick up Infinite Warfare for £5 right now from Asda, which might also nicely go alongside your cheap copy of Titanfall 2 for the same price from the same place. Just like the annual FIFA games, whenever a new CoD comes out, the price of the previous year’s release plummets – though the price being this low might have something to do with it being one of the least liked entries in the series.

I reviewed IW at launch, and didn’t exactly fall in love with it:

“The fine execution of space combat saves Infinite Warfare from its own myopic, fun-free multiplayer. It offers glimpses of greatness that are trapped in the series’ well-worn conventions. The fanbase may approve of this iteration, but it’s hard to recommend IW over its more competent and worthwhile peers.”
