Like many of you, we’re also incredibly excited about the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5 on October 20th, but if you’ve got a bit more disposable income to spend after already purchasing the game, you could pick up some other collectibles too. Sony and Insomniac have already detailed the full console bundle, for those looking to finally own a PS5 or upgrade from the regular white model, but if you’re just in the market for the limited edition DualSense controller, here’s how you can get your hands on one.
Spider-Man 2 PS5 DualSense Controller
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 DualSense controller sees the iconic red, white and blue of the Sony Spider-Man costume design be overtaken full by the black of the Venom symbiote. The buttons themselves are still white, while the touch pad in the center of the controller features the timeless Spider-Man logo, marking perhaps the only time that anyone would be happy to see a spider on their controller.
If this controller looks interesting to you and you’d like to pick one up, pre-orders for the Spider-Man 2 PS5 DualSense controller go live on July 28th. Players from the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria and Portugal will be able to order the controller from either the PlayStation Store, or through “participating retailers” (likely Amazon for starters). Limited stock will also be available in select retailers across the rest of the world too.
The Spider-Man 2 PS5 DualSense controller costs a little bit more than your average Dualsense, retailing at £69.99/$79.99. The controller itself will then release on September 1st, meaning you’ve got plenty of time to break it in before Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20th.
